- THANK YOU, SIGMA LAMDA GAMMA FOR HOSTING OUR MEETING/STUDY NIGHT 
- HALO has $11,000 left to spend for the year
- This is a lot of money left to spend
- Pablo wants us to: 1) Plan a retreat for the first two weeks of next semester. 2) Plan programs for HALO week. 3) Start developing a leadership core that will be excited about recruiting new HALO members. 4) Find an artist that we’d like to bring to campus
- Carolina suggests bringing in “Girls in a Coma,” a band based out of San Antonio, TX
- We should all try to find a group to come in that’s interesting to college students
- What do we, as Hispanic college students, want to see?
- It should cost no more than $2,000 per artist/band that we want to bring in
- We’ll discuss this the first meeting that we come back from break, so start getting names ASAP
- Pablo suggests maybe an auto show…?
- Regional meeting
- If we want to host the HALO regional meeting next year, we need to attend the regional conference this spring
- HALO shirts
- Carolina’s idea: blue shirt, “reaching for the stars” theme
- Other ideas: Spanish words in the shape of Latin America; a hand reaching upward with the Latin America shape inside the palm
- Come up with any other ideas over the break, and we’ll vote on a color and design the first week that we’re back
- HALO week: March 14-20
- Fundraiser idea
- Multicultural dance night
- Involve all interested ethnic groups on campus to participate
- Each group teaches another group a dance to perform (no group dances their own cultural dance)
- Idea for next semester? It may be too late to plan something like this for this Spring
